Pulp & Paper Mill Efficiency Solutions
Typical tissue manufacturers use most of their energy in the drying process. Up to 60% to 80% of a paper mill’s energy can be used for drying of the product. TEI’s FLU-ACE® heat recovery solution is designed to recover as much as 90% of the heat normally lost through dryer section / hood exhausts in the form of water at 50°C to 70°C, and repurpose that energy back into the process.
A mill’s drying process is only as efficient as its steam traps. Failing traps lead to a myriad of issues including insufficient heat output, water hammer, water logging, and impaired production. Unlike traditional mechanical traps, TEI’s GEM™ steam traps contain no moving parts that could clog or fail, which is why they come with a ten-year “no fail” performance warranty. They require virtually no maintenance and deliver increased reliability as well as improved production output.
